Instructions for Fresh Installing Windows Using BootMaster Ultimate Kit

Step 1: Prepare Your Computer

  1. Backup Your Data:

    • Save important files to an external drive or cloud storage, as the installation process may erase your data.
  2. Check System Requirements:

    • Ensure your PC meets the minimum requirements for the version of Windows you want to install.

Step 2: Boot from the USB Drive

  1. Insert the BootMaster USB:

    • Plug the USB drive into an available USB port on your PC.
  2. Restart Your PC:

    • Restart the computer and enter the BIOS/Boot Menu:
      • Common keys to access the menu: F2F12DEL, or ESC (varies by manufacturer).
      • Refer to your PC’s manual if unsure. It may help you Boot Menu Key PDF .
  3. Set USB as Boot Priority:

    • In the Boot Menu, select the BootMaster USB as the primary boot device.
  4. Save and Exit:

    • Save your settings and exit the BIOS. The PC will restart and boot from the USB drive.

Step 3: Start Windows Installation

  1. Select the Windows Version:

    • When prompted, choose the version of Windows (e.g., Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows 8, etc.) you wish to install.
  2. Choose Installation Type:

    • Select Custom: Install Windows Only (Advanced) for a fresh installation.
  3. Partition the Hard Drive:

    • If prompted, select the drive where Windows will be installed.
    • Format the drive if necessary (this will erase existing data).

Step 4: Follow the Installation Wizard

  1. Complete the Setup:

    • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
    • The system will restart multiple times during the process.
  2. Create a User Account:

    • Set up a username, password, and other preferences. If you don’t want, you can skip.  
  3. Activate Windows:

    • Windows will be activated automatically when your PC will connect with internet.

Step 5: Finalize and Update

  1. Install Drivers:

    • After installation, install drivers for your hardware components (e.g., graphics, sound, and network).
  2. Update Windows:

    • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and check for updates.
  3. Reinstall Applications:

    • Install essential software and restore backed-up files.

Common Troubleshooting Tips

  • If the USB Drive Doesn’t Boot:

    • Ensure the USB is properly inserted.
    • Check that the BootMaster  Ultimate Kit is set as the first boot device in the BIOS.
  • Missing Drivers During Installation:

    • Ensure the PC is connected to the internet for driver downloads or use the BootMaster Ultimate Kit.
  • No Bootable Device Found:

    • Confirm the PC USB port works. Reinsert and try again.
